Appears in an essay in the short story, "The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar." Henry Sugar finds the essay in a library while having nothing to do, and reads it in its entirety. The essay describes Imhrat Khan as a man with the ability to see with his eyes closed through meditation. At the end, he dies, possibly as a result of telling his secrets of meditation to the man who wrote the essay.
