Mr. Beauregarde is the husband of Mrs. Beauregarde and father of the third ticket winner Violet Beauregarde. In the novel he and his wife accompnied Violet and in the 1971 version he is called Sam Beauregarde (played by Leonard Stone), but in the 2005 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, his wife is with their daughter at the factory.
